Individual Mindfulness sessions are founded on the Unified Mindfulness System (UMS)  developed by renowned meditation teacher  Shinzen Young, over 50 years of practice and research. UMS is a clear, comprehensive and highly effective system, bringing together elements of Eastern contemplative traditions  and scientific based practicalities of the West.  It is used by Harvard Medical School, Carnegie Mellon and The University of Vermont as the basis of their research of meditation.
